You could wait until the last minute again this year. You could write another
thousand-word year in review and stuff a bunch of photocopies into envelopes
intended for paying bills. And you could smack your mom straight on the face
with an old, wet and moldy tuna sandwich that you've been saving since summer
in a dirty fishing cooler in the garage. Come on, you can do better than that!

It hurts me as much as anyone to say this, but there's more summer behind us now than ahead of us. It won't be long now before your child comes home from school with a dirty, mangled envelope full of pictures of some ratty-haired orphan kid with his eyes closed. You can do better than that—and you can do it for free...

I'm posting from the phone so this is going to be a bit short. Thanks to everyone who came out for the portrait special. There were so many of you that I didn't even stop for a lunch break from ten in the morning until eight at night. I think it's fair to call that a success. Again, thanks much, I expect to have your prints delivered on Monday.
