What's new this week? Running outside, that's what! And it seems to make all the difference in the world. I seem to be a lot faster off the treadmill, and I'm certainly less bored.

Last week I skipped Friday because I was lazy. This week, I'm skipping it because I'm in pain. I'm starting to wonder if the intermediate plan isn't a little too much for me.

Last week I skipped Friday because I was lazy. This week, I'm skipping it because I'm in pain. I'm starting to wonder if the intermediate plan isn't a little too much for me.
Wow, two months already! The runs are getting longer, but I'm sure as hell not getting any skinnier. Not that I expected to this fast. Nope, if this has any chance of working at all, I'm going to have to stay with it for the long haul.
Even training for the marathon, I didn't really lose any weight. I did trim up pretty well though. Even though the race I'm training for is much shorter than a marathon, I'm training a lot harder. Hopefully it pays off.

And now for confession time. I was supposed to run four miles today, but I got home late and was tired. I had a beer and played a video game instead. How's that for dedication?

Ok, I know today isn't Friday, but Heidi and I went to a comedy club last night with some friends, so I didn't have time to post. I worked hard this week though.

176lbs/80kg. Oops. I'm going to call that a one pound increase in muscle mass.

Two notes for this week. First, you'll notice that I only did weights once. Or maybe you won't notice. Or maybe you will now that I said you won't. At any rate, my shoulder feels like it's right on the edge of an injury, so I''m going to let it heal before I put any more stress on it. I got a little carried away on the butterflies Tuesday.
Second, the new picture a week is proving a little inconvenient for my lazy arse, so I'm downgrading to occasional photos when I feel like it. Besides, I'm sure it's going to be months before there's any visible change. I may as well make it dramatic.
