Eight Days, No Exercise
Some would say that's great, but I hate it. I had a bit of a cold last week, and I'm having trouble getting back on top of things. Once I get started, I love it. But getting started is the tricky part. Because of my crazy schedule, if I want to exercise, I have to get up at around five in the morning.
Now, if I'm supposed to get eight hours of sleep, that means I need to get to bed at nine. Since I get home around 6:30 from work and don't finish dinner until at least 7:00, I've got an hour to nag my kid about chores, doing homework and getting to bed and then, if the baby is asleep and Heidi doesn't want to do anything, then I've got an hour to myself.
One hour. There has got to be a better way.
In other news, this is me winning my age group in a 5k a few weeks ago. Ta daaa!
