In college, one of my required classes was photography. At first, I was a little annoyed for the money I would have to spend. It had never occured to me before that I would enjoy taking pictures so much.

For a short time, I even toyed with the idea of making it my major— until I saw how many photographers there were in the Salt Lake City yellow pages. I abruptly decided to make it a hobby.

The photographs here were all taken with a 5 megapixel Nikon Coolpix 5700. It's a fantastic camera. I love it.
